I hope you and your loved ones are safe and doing the best you can in the midst of these unprecedented times. Recent months have impacted us all in profound ways as we deal with loss and uncertainty combined with new ways of living, working, interacting and dwelling. 

While adjusting to this new reality has presented its challenges for me on a personal level and as a small business owner, the one thing that's become clearer to me is the importance of HOME. While it has always been a place where I can truly “be” and find the comfort and rejuvenation I seek at the end of a long day, it has become so much more—a safe haven and a source of solace and joy. It has served as both a refuge and a creative hub as well as a place to stay connected with friends, family, colleagues and clients. As technology bridges the gap in social interactions, home is now a window through which we share our lives with others.

As the ways we collaborate rapidly evolve, my team has risen to the challenge as they continue to be creative, innovative and committed to supporting our clients’ needs in the face of the logistical hurdles our current work environments present. We are a resilient and determined bunch—immersed in design development and research for our ongoing projects from our respective homes (see slideshow below).

Whether you are currently staying home or at your home away from home, I hope you are finding comfort in your living situation and carrying on with grace and kindness as always. We will emerge out of this pandemic strengthened by what we have overcome and with the knowledge of what really matters.
